Hollyhocks are out in flower, sadly not in my garden though. I have embroidered this mini @dandelyne hoop with beautifully variegated silk ribbons although I think usually hollyhocks are just one colour in reality! 😆.

The Autumn 19 issue was devoted to ribbons....and Robert Ely shared his love of designing and weaving silk ribbons. For more than twenty years he has been creating ribbons and trims on his narrow fabric weaving loom.
