He is very wobbly, legs a little too long for his top heavy frame, but this sparkling is steadily making his way down a hallway. Whatever changed him seems to have dumped him somewhere safe - somewhere near Aegis.
Aegis was making food when he heard the somewhat toddling steps in the hallway. He blinked a few times, unsure if that was really what he heard or not, but when it continued, he peeked out and blinked again at the sight of the sparkling. Smiling warmly, he dusts some of the mineral powders off his fingers and crouches so he's more at the sparklings level.

There can be a few reasons for the temperate increase; virus, injury with infection, a newspark being nurtured or a new frame being built in the internal forge. Any of those would allow the frame to increase temperature readings for several days and the mecha being aware of it right away.
