Since the Enola Holmes movies are an AU where Sherlock Holmes got famous without John Watson, I just imagine there's this slightly awkward period when they first start rooming where Holmes is just BRACED for Watson to get fannish like Lestrade did with Holmes' pipe... such a pity, the man seems so sensible but isn't that what everyone does...
... but no. While Watson is always appreciative of Holmes' deductions and the brilliance he shows when he explains them (and making Holmes blush from the praise, dragging that book canon tidbit in) he never shows any of the expected signs of celebrity worship.
Hilariously, he probably goes, "oh, you're famous?" And admits he had no clue who Holmes was before he started rooming with him. Also, when he sighs over Holmes' things it's largely because he's vaguely annoyed by where Holmes left it.
