Hmmm, they must have changed it. I guess that means that the course no longer finishes at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, too?
From the B.A.A. 5K site: "The start and finish line for the B.A.A. 5K is located at Charles Street between the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common." So, I'm guessing that's a different finish area from the Boston Marathon?

Is it two days later or the next day? It's usually the day before the marathon. Last year was an exception as the day before was Easter.
From what I read online, the 5K will be Saturday, April 18 and the marathon will be Monday, April 20. Could make for a nice long weekend in the northeast.

So photogenic.
Thanks, everyone! I think this was my "for once in your life, just have fun and relax during a race" face.

I guess Hansons worked out for you. :)

You make a good advertisement for the Hanson method.
Yes, it's worked out very well. Maybe I should contact them or something. It was internet rumors when I started. Since they wrote the book, it's picked up a lot of steam.

Happy blog-eversary! So…do you still prefer the half marathon?
The 5K will always be my first love. And now that I've rediscovered some of that speed from my youth, it's probably still #1. If I wasn't trying to PR my marathon time, I'd definitely drop down to half-marathons. So much easier to train for.
