According to that one school lady, because I’m mexican and more accustomed to the heat. Honestly it’s just I’ve lived here so long (all my life) I just got used to it like people in the north get used to living in the cold. You use AC, you learn to leave windows open in cars, you can go to any restaurant or anywhere for free water, you find some place shady, you wear cool clothes. Also I don’t understand how humidity and heat similar to our heat. Like I’ve been to a humid hot place. The humidity meant cool breezes. Here, the wind literally is like when you open an oven and that hot air hits you but consistently and without mercy.

Five facts about your mother:1. She’s the shortest one in our family (at least our immediate family)2. She gets all the Almond Joys when I go Trick or Treating because she would always collect them to give them to her mom, and when she died she started eating them herself.3. I was and still am his sidekick (even though I’m not an all too dutiful one anymore).
