lol avery when he wakes up and watches the videos and realizes that he just lost someone who knows everything about him (and possibly the first person he has made connection with after isolating himself from his family and friends) and still decided to sacrifice himself for the sake of the world and avery and avery just staring at the empty wall and snapping out of it then going to minecraft to see if the mc world is still there maybe hes not too late maybe he still can save derek—
but the world was gone. what was left staring back at him were the failed survival worlds he started weeks ago
and his world crumbles. he realizes too late that tears are flowing down his cheeks and he is gripping his mouse and he cant breathe and he cant believe because he failed because he was and is a failure because he cant even do one thing
and he crumbles, falling down on his carpeted floor. he cant breathe. he needs to breathe but he just lost derek. does he even deserve to breathe. but the letter— no, derek tells– told him to keep going forward. and avery follows a dead man's wish.
and he gets up, with shaky legs and all. his foundation crumbled but he can build himself up with what he has left of himself. and with parts of derek so he may live without existing looool
