It makes me mad that there was an English release of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, but I can't find a copy of it anywhere. What makes this even worse is that it was made by the same guy who created Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!. It'd be cool to see him draw all of the characters from the anime in his unique style. Ihara is probably one of my favorite Pokémon manga artists alongside the original Pokémon Adventures artist, Mato.

At least Lucario and the Mystery of Mew is one of the manga based on a Pokémon movie that's out there. Some manga for movies like Pokémon 4ever and Pokémon The Movie 2000 are just lost media now. I'd hate to see the same fate happen to something as cool as this.

Zoids 30 Day Marathon Episode 27: Favorite Liger Transformation Liger Zero Phoenix. Not only is this one of my favorite ligers, I love watching its transformation. The way the Phoenix's body rotates to prepare for the fusion, the armor pieces clasping on to Liger as he runs, the cannons swiveling into ready position, the head of the Phoenix being the LAST piece to connect before we get a 360 spin into a roar and a flashy pose. An Uncanny Resemblance

I was watching an episode of Dinosaur King when I saw this one poster in the background.

Could it really be?!

They look similar. But their names are different and Illinous Joe is just some guy with a shark head, while Indianna Jaws is an actual shark with human features. It's pretty clear which party had more originality.

Also, don't you find it weird that 4Kids left in English text in one of their dubs? Then again, the same thing happened with every Pokémon episode up to the point that episode of Dinosaur King aired. This inconsistency in localization leads me to believe that this aspect of 4Kids was just something people on the internet took WAY too much out of proportion for popularity points.

There's a new girl present, and Misty is the one pulling Ash by the ear this time. (Brock is still smitten for her.) What a way to shake things up.

Ash And Pikachu seems like a great manga based on the Pokémon anime. It doesn't try to be hardcore and stray too far from the source material like The Electric Tale of Pikachu or offer cheap novelizations of storylines from the anime like that one manga based on Journeys. The art style is incredibly appealing, the humor actually hits, and the writing is on point.

My only gripe is that not that many people know about it. It's remarkably obscure, and I can't find any translations of it online. If I had the money, I'd definitely get a copy and translate it to make it more known to the public.
