Araquanid Nicknames:
BubbleHead (A cute handle that also sounds goofy. Lol. This nickname was obviously inspired by the body of water it wears on its head. Score: 8.5/10),
Aquanaut (This is an exemplary handle that was directly inspired by its water-typing and an astronaut. Like an astronaut, Araquanid wears a helmet which it needs to survive a harsh environment. “Aquanaut” is also a word all to itself. It refers to a “…scuba diver or explorer who lives and works in a submerged, watertight underwater habitat for extended periods”. Ratings: 9.5/10)
Dewdrop (Awww!!! For a beautiful nickname that also sounds pretty, look no further than this handle. Recommendation: 10/10).
WaveWeaver (A cool-sounding handle that is sure to command respect! This handle owes its origins to its part water-typing, as well as the fact that it's a spider, and spiders weave webs. Rank: 9/10)
HydroHazard / WaterHazard (Another cool set of handles. I like these ones because they subtly reference a whole slew of water-based associations that this Pokémon has going for it. This nickname is strongly advised on an Araquanid with the "Water Bubble" ability. Score: 9.5/10)
Hydrospinner (Aww yeah!!! Now this handle exposes Araquanid for the powerhouse that it is! It sounds tough, pluuuus it was inspired by its relatively unique typing. I added "spinner" on the end as an awesome reference to its spider motif —and everybody knows that spiders spin webs!)
Waterbug (Keeping things simple, we suggest going with a handle that is a little on the nose. It references its dual water and bug typing, as well as the classification of the Pokémon. Verdict: 6.5/10)
Splashnet (This is a handle that is especially popular with the nerds. It is compatible with the water-theme and typing of the Pokémon, as well as its spider motif, i.e. since cobwebs resemble [fishing] nets. This is a pretty clever handle, if I do say so myself. Grade: 8/10 ^W^)
Araquanid Facts:
A caring Pokémon, Araquanid carries Dewpider around inside its water bubble to protect them as it walks. It protects its food in its bubble, too.
It launches sticky water bubbles. Foes who lose consciousness while trapped inside these bubbles will get torn apart by Araquanid’s gnashing jaws.
It usually spends its time in the water. When its belly is full, it stores its subdued prey in the water bubble on its head.
It has a habit of storing things it values in its water bubble. If its Trainer doesn't watch out, Araquanid will try to put them in its bubble!
It delivers headbutts with the water bubble on its head. Small Pokémon get sucked into the bubble, where they drown.

I think the Switch 2's mouse controls would be a great way to bring back the Pokémon Ranger series through either a DS online service or a new installment. Too bad TPC would rather churn out more mobile games.

Found in the port of Fall City, the location is unlocked as part of Mission 2: Fall City Case Log. The player is directed to the location to capture a Staryu in order to illuminate a laboratory basement. Capturing the Staryu can be relatively difficult early in the game as it quickly moves around the arena, slowing down only to perform its spin attack. Once captured, the player leaves the basement to complete the mission. The area is revisited later when the player is required to capture four Staryu simultaneously. The location is visually reminiscent of the Waterworks visited in a later mission in the game.

You asked and The Pokemon Company listened: presenting the first non-GameFreak core Pokemon game!
It's a stripped down port remake that misunderstands the art direction of the classic that it salvages for nostalgia bait! Oh, you don't like this?
How about a heavily monetized version of Google Maps?
Do you see what I'm saying here? Replacing GameFreak isn't going to give us better games. Without them, Pokemon will just hire the cheapest studio willing to make their soulless nostalgia bait. Pokemon's main profit comes from merch and that's all they need to sell it.
I know GameFreak is no victim, but I'm defending them because I don't want them to go away. They speak like they honestly love what they do, and I just don't want gamers to kill that.
Edit: ILCA isn't a bad studio, and Niantic...well that's a different can of worms. Also, I'm not talking about side ventures like Pokemon New Snap. There's no reason to rush that because the franchise doesn't depend on it. My point is, no matter what company they hire to make the games the franchise depends on, The Pokemon Company will rush them for their merchandise schedule.
