Inventory has three masters. It must please the owner, represent the product, and attract the customer. Every shop is defined by its inventory. The physical shop is the theater, the inventory is the play, and the interaction is the drama. The owner is the curator, and will, consciously or not, decide how to choose each product. Should one trust implicitly one's own intuition, or trust the supplier, or listen to the customer? Typically, it is a bit of each counsel. You must listen well, you must learn, and you must trust your intuition, a little. The best shops are always the most rigorous.
