When it was time to leave, at first, she could hardly see anything. But then fireflies started to appear.

We later find out that the person guiding Bu Yeon in the dark was Jang Uk. He didn’t actually leave her in the forest by herself. He was watching her from a distance.

Bu Yeon knows since she can see energies. She knew Jang Uk was hiding behind her and sending these fireflies to guide her.

He didn’t leave until he was sure that she will be guided safely to home.

Long way to go indeed...
