thank you for everything that you do for the samndean side of fandom! hoping you feel better soon <3
Aw, thank you💞 I'm just going to try sleep it off the best I can. 💪
Did you know that there is a Shirtless!Sam deleted scene from 5x3 Free to Be You and Me that only aired in a promo and then vanished:
Excuse me, sir, but where are your pants? …just kidding I don’t care. I am, however, once again looking at your perfectly V’d up Dorito-torso disrespectfully.
No but for real, someone come fix this. I don’t care that this was 12 years ago. Heads should roll. There should be no statute of limitations on this kind of wastefulness. Because THERE WAS A WHOLE MAKE OUT AND/OR SEX SCENE AND THEY CUT IT:
(Idk who made the following gif. When I was researching this and judging myself pretty hard, Google gave it to me as a little treat.)
What happens from here? Are his pants gone the whole time?? Did Sam accidentally call out his brother’s name?! …I guess we’ll never know.
Anyways, here is what was left of this filthy tease. I could not find said promo anywhere, but please know that there was an attempt:

15.20 - Carry On
You knocked on the hotel room door, a little annoyed that Sam hadn’t just agreed to meet you at the job. You were dumbfounded when he answered the door shirtless and simply stared at you, a strange glint in his usually warm and sweet eyes.
You stammered a little before you could get the words out. “What--what are you doing?” you could feel your cheeks burning.
“Nothing,” he said. He leaned an arm up against the doorframe, obviously not the least bit bashful. “Just waiting for you.”
“...well, put a shirt on. Let’s go!” You fiddled absently with your keys, just for something to do, unable to maintain the intense eye contact Sam seemed to be trying to hold with you. This was... off.
“I have a better idea,” he said.
You felt your brow contract down over your eyes. Glancing back up at him, the hair stood up on the back of your neck. “What’s going on?” Your tone was flat and suddenly guarded. You actually stepped back from him, your hand instinctively going to the hilt of the knife you always kept at your hip. What the hell was this?
For some reason this made Sam laugh. “Easy,” he said. “It’s nothing like that. I’m not a demon. I’m not a monster. I just,” he shrugged, “am seeing everything clearly. You know there’s always been something between us. I don’t know why we’ve held back.”
You stared at Sam. Hard. Your hand was still on the hilt of the knife and your heart was absolutely thudding in your chest. You couldn’t deny that you’d hoped to hear Sam say something like the words that were coming out of his mouth for a long time. You’d agonized over the late night talks, the glances, the phone unexpected phone calls... but everything just sound wrong. It was cold, and the Sam you knew was the warmest, safest person you knew.
He continued.
“So, what do you say we skip the job and just, uhh, get to know each other differently?” He flicked his hair out of his eyes and you could feel him looking you up and down.
You felt suddenly sick. This wasn’t Sam. And you had a feeling you knew what was wrong. You’d seen it before, only once, but you never forgot the coldness and void of someone who had no soul.
