TIGERSTAR’S FAMILY TREE

Been wanting to draw his entire family for a while now ft a couple of my personal head canons :) Swiftpaw and Lynxkit being his kids just makes more sense imo?? Patchpelt (the canon father) was already an elder when they were born and I imagine Tigerstar was the type to want as many heirs as he could, and it also adds another layer of flavour to Swiftpaw’s death oops :)

After artfight I’m either gonna do firestar’s tree or try my best to detangle the mess that is thunderclan :3

Yes she does! She is dead long before the start of the story, though. She is Oakstar's childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, basically. They are pretty young when they have kits; Shinecloud is 16 moons and Oakstar is 18 moons when Birchface and Frecklewish are born. Oakstar got lucky in the sense that Shinecloud's wishes just so happened to line up with his. She wanted to be a queen in the nursery, and he wanted kits. They were young and in love. Their life was happy.

Shinecloud had one flaw, though. She was a bit reckless. She LOVED to climb trees. Far higher than any other cat. She got her suffix, -cloud, because she climbed so high that her fluffy fur made her look like one of the clouds. She was amazing at it, but with her skill came a bit of arrogance. Shortly after Birchface and Frecklewish became warriors, Shinecloud was trying to instruct her kits on climbing trees. A blackbird took flight from one of the upper branches and, overestimating her own abilities, she leapt to catch it. She fell all the way to the ground, breaking her neck. She landed right in front of her kits, who carried her crumpled, misshapen body back to camp.

Her death devastated Oakstar (who was only just made deputy a few moons prior). Many cats believe he never truly recovered from it; it was like he lost his other half. I think Shinecloud was the one cat who Oakstar didn't treat like garbage. (even if just because she just so happened to align with his interests).

reworked Tigerstar family tree, starting all the way up at Gorseclaw (Cloudstar's son who's stated to be his ancestor). once again, lots of inspiration taken from bonefall's thunderclan tree.

i do use bone's 3 strict rules for fixing trees, with the tweak that characters must be more distant than second cousins to be compatible, rather than first. most important to know is the Queen's Rights.
