When my Dad built our home out on Bass Lake in Minnesota, he needed to save budget so he used tub/shower inserts. I wish we’d had this tile and tub as an option. The vaulted ceilings and rough sawn cedar open staircase along with all the windows to the lake view would have been enhanced with this bathroom design. // What I love about this design is that it can retrofit into those common notched out spaces that feel closed in with tight surrounds. We created a @kinstonbrass #tub only area that allowed us to tile partially up the wall instead of the entire way up. This kept the farmhouse theme intact with the beautiful recycled @jeffreycourtinc #tile // Did you know that plants love bathrooms? All that humidity and steam is great for them. #shelfpropping #barcart I found this vintage @brownandjordan bar cart at an antique dealer in Hopkins, MN. It was in perfect condition and just the thing I needed for a kitchen shoot I had going on to change the room design enough so it felt like a different room. The antique dealer didn’t want me to buy it because he used it for moving his smalls around the store. // After the shoot, it sat at our Treehouse studio with piles of boxes on it. I moved it around a few times but it is fairly long so it only fits in a few spots. I finally made it into a sofa table and stacked magazines and books on it. Now it holds our glass items for sale that are posted on Facebook Marketplace. // This shot was paired with some others for an editorial. It was about a vintage bathroom. There are shells and coral in the #redwing and glass containers. That turquoise lamp that works was found in Hopkins, MN as well at another antique shop. Pillows are mostly from @tjmaxx and the bottom turquoise one is for sale on my facebook marketplace page.
