Shatteredstar has had a difficult past. When he was a young warrior, he was struck by a car, causing him to break his legs and blinding him from a head injury. The traditional namers of the clan changed his name to reflect this new disability, something that he despised. However, he still managed to become leader through his vocational abilities. He conflicts with his deputy, Rabbitfleck, as Rabbitfleck insists that he is too lenient. Shatteredstar tends to take more open stances, mirroring ForestClan, rather than the strict rules BeachClan is used to. Many cats view him as too aloof, as he is rare to punish any warriors for infractions. After his attempted murder, he has become paranoid and scared, going out less often.
