BeachClan

BeachClan is a traditional clan very akin to the books. They make camp in a forest not far from a beach, hence the name. The clan is very spiritual and close with StarClan, so any cat who seeks guidance will go to the beach to sleep on the sand under the moonlight and hopefully recieve a dream from StarClan. Medicine cats also visit once a half moon.

Half-Clan relationships are accepted in order to preserve the health and genetic diversity of the clan, but loyalty to BeachClan still comes first. This means it doesn't matter who you mate with, but you must fulfill your duties as a warrior. Your mate may join the clan, or you may visit your mate if they choose not to join. But if you fail to fulfill your warrior duties to BeachClan in favor of your mate, the result is banishment, same as the books. But this is less a shameful punishment and more of a formality, since a cat in this position would most likely choose to leave regardless. (It's like "oh you're already leaving? Well you're 'banished' I guess").

Hey guys, really sorry that it’s been so long. It’s been a real stressful time for me, but I appreciate all of you!

Swankit and Duckkit are identical twins. They seem to be eerily in sync, and speak very little. The two are fairly antisocial, preferring each other’s company over anyone else. However, this leaves their sister, Branchkit, feeling left out. Not only is she not identical, but she also doesn’t really understand her siblings- not to mention, she looks much more similar to her father, Whistlebranch, who is the deputy of another clan. Branchkit remains optimistic that one day she will gain her siblings’ approval, but for now, she mainly plays with the much younger Asteliakit and Erminekit.

MarshClan details

MarshClan is made up of older cats from ThunderClan, WindClan, and SkyClan’s old lake territory, and their second and third generation after moving. They are fast, agile and able to wedge their way between twisting brambles and mangroves.

Territory: The land these cats live on is somewhat of a swampy shoreline. The ground can be unstable during harsh weather, so they use the low tree branches and roots to get where they need to go on occasion. The territory is made up of thick brambles, mangrove trees, tall oaks, small ponds with a variety of aquatic plants, and a sandy shore with some tide pools and rocky areas.

Camp: MarshClan camp is located in a secluded grove surrounded by fallen logs, rocks and thick bushes and trees near shore. The warrior, elder, and nursery dens are all in the bases of thick trees where other animals vacated, and the medicine cat den is located between two huge cracked rocks which were covered in moss, ivy, and weathered earth over time. Hawkstar’s den is underneath sheltered bramble bushes and ferns with a small willow keeping out the wind and rain from above.

The Old Grove: A cluster of twisted mangroves that make for a great place to teach young cats how to climb and practice their fighting moves. It also makes for an excellent hunting ground when the weather is good.

The High Trees: A place with lots of enormous, tall oaks where an old owl lives. He’s territorial, so cats beware.

Beach Cats!

Beachclan, the clan stationed somewhere on the edge of the sand dunes that protect them from the ocean’s waves at high tide. Known for their elegance when walking across sand and powerful swimming prowess, these cats hold a strong reverence for the ocean and the life within it. They are known for vain personalities and admirable appearances, as well as having a tendency for being led by young cats. Beachclan and Marshclan do not generally get along.

Leader: Cormorantstar - A young tuxedo tom with a badly scarred right flank and torn ear.

Deputy: Ospreyclaw - A reliable brown and white tom with striking yellow eyes.

Medicine Cat: Shellfur - A petite white she-cat with a scarred left eye.           Apprentice: Robinpaw
