Also I hope you don’t mind if I post your ask, publicly? I’ve received this question a bit lately and would like to answer it here too! (Let me know though if you prefer to be anonymous, I can delete this after you’ve read it!) 

So with my commissions, I let my patrons on patreon get first dibs on slots and then if I have space afterwards, I open them up publicly! I usually can allot about 6-8 or so slots every month (opened usually in two batches of 3 or 4)! Unfortunately, I prefer not to do waitlists just because it becomes too difficult for me to keep track of things that way (and I get a lot of emails (both art and not art related) so it’s difficult for me to keep up with them!)
