Today while I was at school, I met fellow Voltron fans, and they ship shalidan. the thing is, they had to ask me in fear if i was an anti and guys, that's such bs. I just wish we could all be a little bit kinder to each other, just a little bit

I still don’t get the shalidin discorse. Like let’s be real with the ages: - lance, hunk, and keith are probs around 18 or 19 considering they aren’t in high school - pidge is a prodigy of some sort so that makes her around 14-15 - shiro was done with his education in the garrison so let’s assume that is like college (3-4 years) so he probably really early 20s idk. So no let’s look at some real relationships. Most couples have a few years between them let’s say 4-6 on average. So 22-19=3 so I feel that shance shunk and sheith are all fine. For pidge and shiro it would be around 6-7 years which is still reasonable. Honestly as long as the characters are explicitly stated to be 18+ in any sexual fan works it’s fine. The only thing that’s fucked up is stuff like that one fic where lance and keith were preschoolers but shiro was attracted to them, that is pedophilia. Idk just some thoughts
