I've been really busy with work, so I haven't been able to draw much lately. So, I'm posting some old drawings instead!

For the first time in his life, Yue wanted to believe it. Believe that things could be different, that he could leave with Colress, that he could be more than just a tool and weapon. But he was afraid, so afraid. And he knew where this would lead.

"Oh, my apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Colress, and I am a scientist! I suspect neither of this is news to you, but that's no reason to forget my manners. May I ask your name?" 

"Shadow." 

It was the first time something akin to confusion clouded Colress' jovial expression, though he gave a polite nod. 

"Ah yes, I was informed that you perform this sort of task, but... is that your actual name? I mean no disrespect if so, of course, forgive my ignorance."

Shadow only gave a blank stare in response. It had been a long time since anyone had asked him for a name. Ghetsis had, when he found him and his brothers near the Giant Chasm, barely conscious and freezing. They hadn't been able to answer him; their memories had all but vanished. And once they found their new purpose, once they all became Shadow — to themselves, to each other and to everyone else — he didn't bother to ask again. 

They still couldn't remember where they had come from and what their names had been.
