The Five Doctors Re-Scooped: Less Punting, More Problems (or How I Fixed - and Broke - The Five Doctors)
Tom Baker’s absence from The Five Doctors forced the BBC to rely on footage from the uncompleted serial Shada. The punting scene worked well enough, but here's how I would've done it.
Expect random dialogue, a stolen soundtrack, inconsistent Time Scoop logic, terrible sound mixing, haphazard colour grading, and absolutely zero AI interference.

If you assume the Doctor's parents are dead, then you could interpret Shada as just the Doctor and Romana having a date and then meeting the Doctor's adoptive father figure later on. <3
