Alx was laying on the ground, having left Toriel's place and managing to survive an ambush by Flowey (that bastard), mustered all the strength that he could to crawl outside, and managed to get to a bridge with a gate with bars too wide to stop anyone from proceeding
Sans was busy making his usual rounds through Snowdin,
Which is to say, he wasnât working at all.
Heâd gotten bored of manning his sentry post five minutes into his shift. Heck, he already knew what was going to happen today anyways. Doggo was gonna freak out because Snowdrake was petting him when he wasnât looking, someone was gonna accidentally set off Papyrusâ human traps, and at 12 pm sharp, Undyne was gonna pass by to see her âfierce royal sentriesâ caught up in a completely unsanctioned and unprofessional snowball fight.
                                    âŚ.B O R I N G.
It was another one of those RESETS. The third one in as many days. Or did that make it three times in one day? Sans didnât bother to think about it. He stopped trying to keep it all straight. He never succeeded at anything other than giving himself a headache anyways. Besides. The purpose of the resets would present itself soon enoughâŚ
That was how it always worked. A few days of monotony.
And then something new. Something different, would happen.
âŚSans just wasnât expecting it to happen quite so quickly.
The skeleton had reached the barred bridge outlining the border of Snowdin forest to find a HUMAN on the ground.Â
Sans looked left. He looked right. He walked up to the human and poked them with the toe of his shoe.Â
