1.Dean is a teacher (I say physics and/or Chem. I'll go with chem because idk shit about physics). He's adored by his past students, but every new class that comes is terrified because they always hear from the older year about the shit ton of homework. But then they get there, and they discover this guy. He's strict but somehow laid back, and is so passionate. They're ย entranced.
2.He talks about what they're going to study this year and warns them from the boring part โno normal, regular human loves stoichiometry, but you gotta do what you gotta doโ and he smiles as he keeps throwing words into the air โD-glucoseโ 'acid-metal reactionsโ 'redoxโ 'avogadroโ and then the bell rings. And all they want to do is find out what's all that. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
3.Next lesson, boom, lots of info, he doesn't take it slow, it seems, and they're starting to rethink. But then, in the end of the lesson, Dean writes a number on the board. 'text me or call me if you need any help, I'm limiting you to 21:00 when it comes to calls but I'll reply to your texts until 22:00โ and he also uses his free hours at the school to help them. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
4.He helps each and every student, asking as they're putting effort into it. That's all he asks for, and they do, because it's fun. And /he/ is fun. He makes jokes, sometimes gives bonus questions that are weirder than anything they had seen, too. He once managed to scare them all on April fool's, talking about dihydrogen monoxide, above all the other acids on the pH level and drank it. ย ย
5.(Dihydrogen monoxide=water) They lost their shit and he had to apologize โI'm sorry, but I taught you better than this!โ ย (They prank him, too, ofc) and they, too, kept talking about the piles of homework, knowing other kids will hear, but they'll still come and see, and fall in love with this teacher. (And of course, they stay in touch. And greet him, and were invited to his wedding, and a couple that started dating after he made them projectmates invites him to their wedding. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
6.โI saw you side-eyeing each other, young ladies. Like my wife and I at collegeโฆ Cassie, remember the two girls I told you about?โ โyesโฆโ โhere they are!:Dโ. (I have Dean/Cassie feels for some reason? Idk) and he's just loved by everyone and cracks puns and jokes. Here. I'm done. :) ย ย ย
Dean as a chem professor ;u; beautiful. God, science professors are so interesting, arenโt they? I bet he has really fun hobbies like drag racing and playing the cello. He probably teaches an intro class as well as p. chem, and when his past students get him again theyโre the most prepared for the amount of homework they need to do for that class.
