I think that's what makes him feel so genuinely vampiric. His abilities seem completely integrated into his physical instincts, almost as natural as breathing. The other vampires often seem to have to put some effort into using their powers, or make more of an event out of it, or simply aren't as subtle or artful about it. Armand doesn't perform being a vampire. He just moves through the world as one.
