The whole evening is spent with Genesis' soft baritone weaving grand tales and Sephiroth's industrial strength purrs vibrating the couch. Cloud and Zack walk in, beeline for the middle of that, and fall asleep instantly, spooning Sephiroth. Genesis pretends to be annoyed at them when they wake up for not listening to the beauty of the words of the goddess.
Angeal takes pictures and makes cocoa.
Zack: Seph, bud, y'know what?
Sephiroth: What is it, Zack?
Zack: I love you, man. You're just. I don't know how you're always so kind. I wish we coulda been friends our whole lives. *Hugs*

the best thing about having a cat named Sephy is that you get to be a loving, steadfast friend ❤️
