We don’t need tax cuts, we need higher wages. People know how to save, that’s what saving accounts and credit unions are for. We need the rich to pay MORE taxes so that the social services that depends on federal and state funding can get access to more financial support to expand their services to all those who are being short changed by their employers! He talks about how much it would save a family of 4 who’s living on 75,000/ yr. seventy-five thousand. the federal poverty level for a family of 4 is 25,000 after taxes.

us median income is about $52,000/yr. Mind you there is a lot of disparity within those numbers- does the median take all size households? what about gender discrimination (ave. for men is around 90,000 with women down at 50,000). but i don’t know that a family income of 75000 a year is as concerned about a tax break as the people earning poverty rate are concerned about their social services that are going to be cut in order to afford the tax cuts that won’t benefit that significantly enough to improve their lives.
