I kinda wonder where the Hank/Raven relationship came from when in the original X-Men, or X-Men: Last Stand, it doesnāt seem like Beast or Mystique had...any sort of relationship aside from Beast knowing Mystique and what she was capable of...
Or maybe...it does make sense when you see Hankās disapproval of Raven joining Magneto at the end of X-Men: First Class, and without Logan going back in time to prevent the Sentinel Program, Raven stays as Mystique, against the X-Men and on Magnetoās side which wouldnāt attract or get Hank interested again at all... It mightāve made him have a huge amount of disdain for her.Ā
How much do yāall wanna bet that Hayword was using the technology he has harvested from Visions dead body to jump start the Sentinel Program?
It makes sense, MCU is planning on bringing mutants into the world proper - and where there is mutants there is some sort of Sentinel Program to ācaptureā them.
How MCU Bolivar Trask, William Stryker, Senator Kelly, and Donald Pierce will be talking about Peter Parker
Look, I can (and will when I am more awake and not on nightshift) go on about how terrible and honestly bad Ultimate X-Men is written and managed but these pannels are absolutely terrifying if I am to be honest.
The sentinel program being launched like this and just how it is portrayed with people being outright murdered in the streets is scary. It is down right horrifying tbh.
Imagine you are going about your day and everything is normal you are walking your dog and enjoying a nice ice cream and then a giant ass robot appears and squashes you like a bug.
And then for people to say that there was no civilian casualties. And that you were a terrorist. That shit is just goose bumps worthy there.
One of the reasons I am still reading this series as it sets this up. That the sentinels were there because of the Brotherhood and Magneto but it was normal mutants who were attacked.
If it had been just the X-Men being attacked on the streets or whatever than the series would just feel like any other X-Men comic. Bad robots attack heroes. Cue fight.
But instead it starts with this. An attack on the street celebrated by everyone else.
Like Magneto is an absolute dick in this series (everyone is like wtf) but he is more than justified in his anger here when giant robots are killing people, his people because they exists
And that is what X-Men comics is about at the end of the day: the rage and anger of those who are persecuted for being different and the hope and compassion of those who want to everyone to learn to get along with each other and not seek to do harm to either side.
I gotta get back to work now but I have thoughts and feelings on the Ultimate X-Men
(Not all of them nice because š¬š¬š¬ that writing)
I will write more of this when I wake up sometime this afternoon.

What do you think of the Sentinel Program theyāve been talking about on tv? Personally I think it could go wrong in so many ways.
I havenāt heard much about it honestly. The name sounds familiar anyway. Maybe tell me more about it? Please?
I can at least be confident that US mutants would never be hunted by government-run Sentinels if X-Men were real.
Because the left would be like "Oh no leave the mutants alone; no weapons!"
And the right would be like "We'd love to destroy these mutants but we really don't want to spend money to do it."
