I don't know how I'm going to survive until the weekend. I finished meds before expected (noise hurts, and I talk less,) I'm sleep deprived, I'm not at "home" and I won't be until Thursday, MY UTERUS IS BLEEDING and my back hurts
🥲
I'm so... so... sleepy
How to know that this book is by Stephen King:
1: The premise is technically plausible, but insane.
2: The naming of concepts/plot elements is even weirder.
3: The ending comes completley out of left field and is hands-down batshit.
4: There’s a bad guy somewhere with the intitals R.F. He doesn’t fit into this story’s world at all. But he is here, he’s smiling too much, and he’s making everything way worse.
5: Dicks. So many dicks. There are penises every 20 pages or so.
6: Women’s bodies are doing things that women’s bodies do not actually ever do, but this is painted as totally normal and absolutely what every woman’s body does regularly. The weird female body stuff actually distracts you from the story.
7: Why is there a cowboy here? There should not be a cowboy here...
8: Someone is fat. They’re painted as obscenely, grotesquely obese. They might actually only be a few pounds overweight, but it is apparently disgusting. They’re also probably a horrible person.
9: Weasels. If you’ve read enough of King’s books, you know where I’m going here.
10: Somehow, through all of this weird crap I just described, you adore this book and can’t remember the last time you got this invested in a novel. You might cry at the end. You will likely be scouring the library for another book by Stephen King. There are plenty to choose from, at least.
Penny for your thoughts..
I’ve just had a review pop up on a reallyyyyyyy old ppg fanfic. It was first published on ff.net (the only place it’s available to read as it’s a pretty old fic now) in 2012 and I finished it in 2014 - I probably started writing it like 10 years ago though. I’ve not read through said fic in a LONG time but I know the storyline had it’s faults, as did it’s predecessor (anyone familiar with my older stuff probably knows the two fics I’m talking about). I do also feel my characterisation of some characters were off and not how I’d write them now at all.
This reviewer is not happy with the way I wrote the fic AT ALL, like they’re pretty fucking pissed. Also didn’t feel like an attack on a character, more of how I chose to write this character at the time - so an attack on my writing, really. If I was to re-read now I know I’d probably cringe at some aspects and want to change xyz.. But I wrote it a long time ago now and things change; you grow, you experience things in real life that gives you way more depth and perception of stuff - you mature, you get a little more ‘worldly wise’, right? Well, we like to hope we do, lol.
Anyway - it’s made me feel a bit like shit, should I just take those fics down? Despite the fact I was proud of them when I posted them? Despite the couple hundred faves and follows they have? And several hundred reviews - probably mostly positive? Or should they stay to show my own ‘growth’ as a writer? Should they stay because I spent a fucking long time writing them way back when, and some people did like them? Will I totally regret deleting them? Am I letting one person make me feel shitty? Or is this some kind of small scale light bulb moment where I realise it’s time to delete the older stuff? Or am I letting the one pissed off reviewer - a guest too, so I can’t even reply to them - get to me? I don’t normally dwell on this sort of stuff, maybe I’m letting anxiety get the better of me but - what are your thoughts? Help a madame out.

Dmc 5 is looking amazing guys. Can't believe how far the graphics have come!
This is version 1 of Red. I wanted things monochrome with one or two things highlighted with only one color, cuz that's how they are all dressed in the series. I like this version slightly better but the color version is still a good one. I'll do it for all of them.
I’m so sleepy...I planned on writing BD till I passed out tonight but i’m already so tired that my screen is blurry from my eyes being like: “Thou shall sleep NOW!”
