Disney pop up shop in Selfridges Manchester 💖 The Lady and the tramp and Fantasia window displays where beautiful 😍 and Honeslty the best part about it 😅 the actually Disney store section was TINY it looked like all the Disney goodies had been ransacked and there were only a few things left but saying that I am super happy with the bits I got ❤️ Firstly an adorable Pooh bear plushie keyring who was a little pricey but he’s adorbale and I’ll use him on my bag lots 💛 Then I got 2 pins for my collection- Beauty and the beast cause it’s such a pretty pin and fits in my BATB pin collection perfectly and John Darling from Peter Pan. There wasn’t that many pins at all sadly I was hoping to maybe get some of the Winnie the Pooh Selfridges exclusives but 💔 and lastly a chocolate Mickey and some vanilla star shaped cookies cause I love my sweet treats 😁

1931: The Queen of Time is located above the main entrance of Selfridges department store on Oxford Street in London. This iconic sculpture is the work of Gilbert Bayes.
Selfridges is a renowned high-end department store chain founded by Harry Gordon Selfridge in 1909 featuring revolutionary story-driven window displays.
The 11-foot statue is made of bronze with stunning blue enamel (faience) detailing on her robes. She stands on the prow of a "Ship of Commerce," holding a golden globe with a small figure of Victory in one hand and a leafed branch in the other.
On the clock the twin dials above her are part of what is officially known as the Selfridges Clock. It features five bells that ring Westminster Quarters, with the hour bell weighing 3 tons.
Major silent film stars and international celebrities frequented Selfridges during the 1920s including Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin and Mabel Normand. Later other visitors included Elizabeth Taylor, Shelley Winters, Stevie Wonder and Kim Kardashian.

got to see the Frankenstein free exhibit at selfridges today. love seeing the costumes and concept art in person. it was a nice homage to physical creation, hand-crafting and cinematic stage designs! they even explain how the ship in the film was built practically and placed on a pulley system that moved both the interior and exterior sexts simultaneously while filming! gonna post the photos when i land. huge fan of the angel state.
