The relationship you have with yourself matters. How you see yourself, speak to yourself, and show up for yourself sets the tone for your life, how you live it, along with who and what you align with and allow. If you have more anger than acceptance, more shame than self-assurance, more condemnation than confidence, or more insecurity than authenticity - navigating the hills and valleys of life will be immeasurably difficult. Embracing joy and serenity will be met with caution instead of comfort. Give yourself permission to feel your emotions without guilting yourself for having them or abandoning yourself to please others.

One of my rules is never to look sideways at what other people are doing but instead, do what I feel is right.
