More photos of the Oskar cowl! I kind of reckon you could seam the ends together for a different look that shows the construction more, but for me it’s more functional as a tube.

See what you can find if you organize the stash? Too much going on with these, I think. But...
Not a super thrilling project, but I started some socks that are Ohio State Buckeye themed. My husband is in his second semester at Ohio State and the amount of Buckeye paraphernalia is outrageous. I couldn’t pass up on this yarn, even if we could care less about football. It is still a great striping pattern, and will make for a great gift to someone who is more charged up about supporting the Bucks!Â

One of my favorite things about 9 inch circulars is that theyre really convenient for when you may need to quickly put down your knitting, unlike magic loop or dpns. Volunteering at my local Red Cross today and had to stop and help out a donor with a reaction and have 0 worry about dropping stitches

My job requires me to ride in a work truck for about thirty to forty minutes a day. The time is often spent chatting, or planning our work day. But I still find myself getting bored and restless. I figured knitting up a pair of mindless socks would be the best solution. I can still be attentive, and even if my hands are dirty this yarn is washable, so no worries! This is also my first self striping yarn, which I am very excited to use. I can’t wait to see how they turn out. I am also going to attempt my first afterthought heel, that way I can just knit a big tube and stress about a heel turn.Â
What is your favorite method for an afterthought heel? Please share!Â
Finished my Mipha socks!
