Reversible Destiny
Above all, what is missing from the world is a sense of what is in operation as the world. Even so, it can be stated without hesitation that each of us is involved(or ought to be involved) in an ongoing process of self-invention. If each person must invent themselves further out of what they have at their disposal, we should at least have readily available a reference guide to all that a person can possibly rally to the cause of being a person. When I assign a meaning to something, I do it on the basis of what? In this, as in all instances, the questioner themselves is the big question, the greater context. Being a person is an astounding event or series of events. Astounding in its variegated ordinariness. Does variegated ordinariness exist only always to dwindle away toward a dreary end? Why should the astounding series of events that is a person have to come to an end? But in regard to a whole person, what constitutes the whole of it? The body-person cannot be studied apart from their surroundings. What wields itself as the architectural body? To what extent do architectural surrounds guide behavior? Can architectural inflection of thought and feeling be calibrated precisely?

Project Statement
By my own haphazard estimate, there are 99 days between now and January 1st. It is my intention to live perfectly in all matters for those 99 days--but especially in regards to losing weight. I will go to the gym every day. I will never eat more than 1500 calories (with a goal of around 1400). According to more-than-certainly-incorrect internet calculators, that will allow me to lose about 28 lbs and somewhere between 4-5.5 inches off of my waist.
