I’ve been getting back into Taylor swift recently, I liked her a lot when I was a preteen but I kind of shamed my self into not listening to her anymore. Idk there’s so much stigma about being a girl and liking Taylor sift even though it’s super common, yk the comments like “oh you like Taylor swift? Ok basic” type things.

I’ve grown up a bit now and stoped caring so much about what people think, but I still feel some shame around it :(.

Some of us learned that being authentic came with a cost—rejection, criticism, or abandonment. Over time, we began shrinking ourselves before anyone else could.
