“Its time,” he said with an air of finality to it, that left no question as to what it was time for. Cruella’s end was here.

“Well fuck you too.”
He had slammed the door of the police station, and there was that distinct sound of cracking glass, he wasn’t paying for it. He was beyond pissed, not getting any answers. He walked through downtown as if he had a mission really, all he wanted was fucking answers. And if he was old enough to get alcohol he would absolutely slip into a bar and order whatever was the strongest. But he couldn’t do that yet. Finally he plopped himself on a bench in the middle of downtown, still fuming, but also fighting back tears as his jaw was clenched tighter than should be possible.

He had done it. But only partially because one thing all the notes lacked, and all his research could not help him with was how to control when you traveled to. He could not figure that out. But he knew it was possible. He set up the runes, it was so similar to a teleportation circle that it made him nearly laugh. After finishing he put the chalk away in his pouch, to ensure he could hopefully return home, he felt like he could at least do that. Because he knew enough about the runes that he felt that he knew how to get back here to this time.
He had left a note for Essek. He swore he would be back, promised. Caleb was very careful with promises after all.
He stepped into the circle and finished the spell, it whipped him away, and he felt like he was falling. This was unlike the teleportation circles. He came to a hard landing, in some city square that was far grander than his small home town in Rexxintrum. He had made a mistake, and overshot the place in his timeline.
He took a few steps nearly running into an automaton not unlike the remnants of what he saw in Aeor. And it dawned on him. Just where exactly he might be. But this city did not look like Aeor. He looked around, seeing everything bright, so much was glowing. He felt stronger magics than he had ever felt before. He knew someone had to be able to help him, but it was simply a matter of who.
He gripped his transmutation stone, not that it would help him in this situation as he had no desire to fight anyone here. He likely wasn’t strong enough. But it was a sense of comfort. He looked around, and made his way over to someone who looked like they had some type of authority, “Excuse me?” he said his accent coming on stronger due to the nerves. He looked like he did not fit in here, and that was worrisome for Caleb who would much like to blend in. “Do you happen to know where we are?”

“Here let me,” he stated, as he pulled out a pocket knife and flicked the blade up with practiced ease. He slid the knife under the ropes, where the knot was so that it could still be used in the future for a smaller load, that were tying the logs together. “Easy peasy,” he said as he pocked the knife.

“I can feel the stupidity in your question before you even ask it,” he sighed. He closed his eyes and motioned with his hand, “Well go on, ask away maybe you can prove me wrong.”

“I’m a liar,” he said, nearly shouting at the other, exasperated. “My name isn’t even Arthur, everything about me is a lie!”
