He looked at the options, "But the all sound a bit fun." He looked at Audrey, then back to the options, and back to her. "Okay, help me narrow it down a bit more, which ones are you absolutely not going to enjoy. I can choose from there, and we can then for sure get rid of it as an option all together." Picking different events for this festival was far more exhausting than Art had previously thought about. But he also wanted to do everything at festivals, so he may have been the worst person to be partnered with Audrey on this. She was decisive, could make decisions, he was wishy washy, a bit like his father when he was younger. He appreciated that Audrey was trying to include him in the decision making, and it wouldn't have been fair to make her do it all on her own.

On a tactical level he knew that that was correct. On a logical level he should leave, everyone would advise him to. On the level of life that Art decided to live on, he could not in good faith let them buy him time. Not only was it not fair, but they owed him nothing. They did not have to do this for him, nor should they have to.
