I hesitantly open the door to the room Seitaro's is staying in, closing it behind me as I enter. He's sleeping peacefully in the bed. "Seitaro?" I ask. He doesn't answer, I give him a little shake, "Seitaro." I say again. He grumbles softly, his eyes opening slightly. "Hina...?" he asks groggily, "What's up?" "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you...well I did but..."

"What do you need?" he asks, sitting up in bed slightly. I look down at the floor, feeling silly and a little guilty for waking him up. "This stuff going on with Yuka is pretty scary." I say as I stare at the floor. I can see him frown from the corner of my eye.

"...Yeah. Yeah, it is." "Do you think she'll get better?" I ask There's a slight pause, then he replies, "I think she will, we just got to keep looking for a map so we can get her to the hospital." I nod meekly and he tilts his head at me, "Hey, are you okay? You're shaking." "Oh, uhh, yeah, I mean, I guess I am. Just worried...and a little scared." "Is there something I can do to help?" "Actually, Seitaro, I came in here because I was wondering...could I sleep in here with you tonight? I don't like sleeping alone in this big house by myself. It makes strange noises at night."

I can hear the blankets russle as he shuffles around, "Yeah, get in." I climb into his bed and immediately lay down, facing away from him. He tucks me in, then lays down next to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Better?"

"...Yeah, better." I can fell heat rush to my cheeks, but I try to ignore it.

"Well, alright then, try to get some rest." "I will." "Goodnight." "Goodnight, Seitaro." I drift off to sleep; it’s easier with Seitaro by my side.

HELP I NEED HIM

Personally my choice for Ruruka would be Celeste! Fancy ladies that pretend to be in control of the situation but actually have so many issues. I think they would date for a few months, have some sort of misunderstanding or conflict, wildly overreact due to their personal flaws and then have the messiest break-up imaginable. Bitter exes to the extreme.

And for Seiko, I'd say Hina. I feel like every anxious mess of a girl needs a sweet sunshine girl to help her out. Plus they both have attempted murder- not sure how the potential of murder would impact their relationship, but it sure is interesting.

The good news is that I've seen both of those ships on this blog, even if only a couple posts!

Personally, my favorite Ruruka rarepair is Ruruka/Hina. POV we bond over donuts and my disarming straightforwardness charms you and brings out the better in you, and your loud self confidence enables me to stand up for myself earlier so that I don't reach a breaking point before showing that I'm not okay. And we were both girls ❤️
