Dandelions
Dandelions.... It's how I view the people I meet in this life.
A dandelion grows, blooms... At the end of its cycle it releases its seed.
I feel our souls are not unlike those seeds.
Yes our body is placed where it is, but have you ever met an 'old soul'?
Someone that feels, behaves older, from a different time or just at least not like the one they came.
I see our souls as dandelions ready to release, and a large wind comes.
Yes they were all created the same time, but some immediately drill down into the ground.
Some, float and float.... They go a long time, beautiful in how they navigate the air, so perfectly designed. Engineered for distance, they come down sometimes much longer than the other seeds, planting much farther away.
It's those souls that were created so long ago, that feel out of place. That feel drawn to a time that's not theirs.
