{May, 2017} Bullet journal turned travel journal! I had a great time with kangaroos, otters, and a fennec fox! My bullet journal has just become a mishmash of different kinds of journals at this point.

3.26.17 // After almost 3 years of bullet journaling, I finally decided to change up my weekly spread this week. Having my whole week laid out allowed me to plan my tasks more in depth, which was necessary with all the craziness going on. I definitely think it helped me stay on task without being overwhelmed too much.
*Just a side note, I usually don’t like to migrate tasks unless I know where they’re going to go. That’s why you see a couple still unchecked. They’ll go on next week’s spread :)

I wanted to share a challenge I did in 2016. Every day I would write down 1 thing that made me happy and then put it in this jar. It sounds simple enough but it wasn't easy. Sometimes I would miss an entire week and would have to go back and try to remember what I did. Other days were just completely mundane school days and it would take me a while to think of a moment that stood out. Doing this made me realise that it was always possible to find something positive in every day, whether it’s was a tight hug from a friend when i needed it or a rly good slice of pie. I would def encourage you to try something similar! if 365 days is too daunting, start with 30 days and go from there. trust me, it will be worth it when you make it to the end 😊
4.5.17 // This week:
Gave up Facebook for Lent. 5 days in, and so far so good!
My car died for the last time. RIP Yzma, it’s been a good 3 years.
Reached 12k (!!!!!) on this blog! You guys are crazy cool. Thank you thank you.
Reminder: “Don’t confuse a bad day with a bad life. Even the worst days only last 24 hours.” 😌✨

These are probably my favorite spreads in my journal (so far!). I got a ton of new washi tapes at the beginning of March and I first started testing them out here! Lately I’ve been enjoying using my bullet journal for, well, journaling. I’ve always wanted to keep a journal but have never been able to make myself write every day, so the casual feel of the bujo has helped me there.
(The cute little blue flowers I got from here and also I found the pictures on Pinterest and they’re not mine!)
