There's so much to study and soo little time !

Okay wait , not study , revise !

Soo much to revise .

And some topics to study :')

Today I completed

Pharmac : Respiratory System drugs

Drugs acting on Bone

Patho : Typhoid intestine

TB intestine

Inflammatory bowel ds ( crohns and ulcerative colitis )

Polyps

Colon cancer

I'm so sleepy rn

Will revise colon cancer

And then go to sleep

Couldn't do micro today, courtesy procrastination ( using my phone)

Day 1 of 12 Day Productivity Challenge

Woke up at 5:30 am , and studied Congestive Heart failure.

Went to college ,

Attended Pharmac lecture on poisoning and treatments of diff poisoning.

Attended dermat clinics

Had a patho lecture on csf and finally pharmac tutorial on 3 topics - Hypertension , Angina and Congestive Heart Failure.

Came home ,

Revised Sedatives Hypnotics.

Didn't get much done today

Hoping for a more productive tomorrow!

Today was a nice day !

The morning was productive !

Studied

Embolism - amniotic fluid embolism Pulmonary embolism, Air embolism, paradoxical embolism, Systemic thromboembolism

Infarction - red infarct , white infarct

So I'm done with hemodynamic disorders in Gen patho . Yay.

In the evening ,

Studied Antipsychotics

Ate dosa

And had a great conversation with my best friend ( yes, it was so good that it's worth mentioning Here).

At night

Studied anti mania drugs

Micro :

Innate immunity

Acute phase reactants

Might read acquired Immunity and call it a day

15 days to finals.

I've started studying for final exam from today, the exam starts on 20th Jan and ends on 11th Feb :')

Today the pharmac prelims result was out, and I achieved my target for Paper 1 , Paper 2 was very bad but my overall score came up because of Paper 1 , pracs were amazing , I scored above my target , this just gave me motivation to do well for finals as well. The results I've got are directly proportional to the work I put in , I studied well for Paper 1 , Paper 2 not so much , and pracs I was prepared and confident.

Coming back to today, I got a lot done .

General Mycology

Systemic Candida

Systemic Mycoses

Fungi causing skin and soft tissue infections - superficial mycoses, subcutaneous mycoses , opportunistic mycosal infections

Respiratory infections by fungi - pneumoncystis jiroveci , mucormycosis, aspergillosis, penicillinosis.

Fungi causing cns infections- Cryptococcal meningitis .

made flashcards for Lab diagnosis of all of these

Phew.

I think I'm gonna call it a day !

Day 2 of 26 day study challenge 👒

Was super sleepy today cause of lack of sleep last night due to the psm ppts .

Attended all my lectures and clinics.

Came home and

watched a study video

Studied atherosclerosis

Completed micro writeup +diagrams

After watching the study video I took a nap , felt refreshed ! Then had dinner and got back to studying.

It feels great to be productive.

9 days to finals

The morning was productive, got a lot of topics done .

I took a nap in the evening then resumed studying.

At night I studied Shock from hemodynamic disorders .

I took a break , in which my best friend texted me ,saying she wants to talk for only 5 - 10 mins.

Take home message : Guys , it's your best friend, you are never gonna end a call in 10 mins . Anyways , the call lasted for around 2 hours :') But I was super happy after the call ( obviously) with a tinge of guilt . I never said you should say no for the call though .

1 day to finals

Sooo I studied for micro paper 2 today , which is the 4th paper I'll answer.

We will be answering 2 papers of 100 marks each for one subject , then one day gap then micro , then patho. After a 7 day gap , prac exam will strat.

My first exam is pharmac, for which I'll be revising tom. The paper 1 portion is much better than the pharmac paper 2 portion., which is extremely vast . The distribution is absolutely crap.

All these days ive studied ,towards the end I burned out and didn't do anything for like 2 to 3 days . But then 2 days before exam I was kinda back on track.

Now im gonna sleep and fuel my body and mind for tomorrow's day before exam revision prep.
