Day 72/365
Today was a pretty normal college day. Had classes, submitted a few assignments, and came home for lunch.
Went shopping with my mom, helped out with some chores, and managed to study for a while. Had dinner, helped with the never ending laundry situation that too during rainy season, and finally called it a day.
Nothing particularly exciting happened today, but it was a simple and productive day.
Rating: 7.5/10
Improvement: Make better use of my evenings and avoid wasting too much time between tasks.

Days 68–71
Day 68: Finally finished my last mid-sem exam!! I was honestly so relieved. Came home and just chilled for a while without having to think about studying.
Day 69: Holiday, so I woke up late and took things slow. Helped with some chores, watched an episode of Stranger Things and a movie, spent time with Tommy, and mostly just lazed around and unwound.
Day 70: Another slow Sunday. I woke up late as usual, then spent almost half the day cleaning the entire house with my family. After lunch, I took a nap and spent the evening mentally preparing myself to go back to college.
Day 71: Going back to college after the mid-sems felt weirdly new, like I was entering for the first time 😂. Classes went on as usual, but I got my Angiosperm paper back and the marks were honestly really bad. I'm definitely not happy about them, but I'm working on improving. Came home, finished some assignments, and slept early.
On a much happier note, my college trip is in 10 DAYS!! I genuinely cannot wait.
Rating: 7.5/10
Improvement: Work harder on Angiosperm Systematics and Taxonomy and stay consistent with revision.

The countdown for my PhD entrance exam has officially started; i have 6 months to lock in and give it my all. The good news is that I've prepared for it before and did quite well at it, but the bad news is that this was more than a year ago.
Fortunately, i grinded through so much literary theory and history back then that most of the information is ingrained in my mind. Hopefully it'll all come back with thorough and vigorous revision. Good thing i saved all of my comprehensive notes i made back then.
Good luck little soldier.

did you guys know that when you read something that is so difficult to understand at first that it fatigues you, if you keep on reading it does actually get easier to understanding? that the fatigue is actually your brain forming new pathways and even if you stop reading that pathway remains there half built waiting for you to return? did you know? have you told people about this?
