Second semi-final thoughts
San Marino: In a year when I don't care for many songs, I like Adrenalina. I don't think it's a winner and I couldn't care less she dragged Flo Rida into this... for more votes? She could have had any rapper in the world, it wouldn't be different.
Estonia: Are we sure this song hasn't compete before, like 40 times?
Czech Republic: I had a break there, sorry.
Greece: This is such a weird one. The Greek entry has numerous problems and numerous saving graces that collide. The song is bland yet catchy, Stefania was panicky yet delivering, shaky yet vocally strong, overachieving yet stiff, the staging was ridiculous yet cool, the green screen was problematic yet fun, the outfit was a bit cartoonish yet gorgeous, the 80s vibes old fashioned yet nostalgic. Literally, there was panic and lightheartedness together in the atmosphere. I stan our entry because the song is a grower and I love how hard Stefania is trying and her lovely voice. I don't care what her place will be in the final, I don't expect much, but I want her to be okay with the result and then throw a punch at Fokas Evaggelinos (the choreographer) because I suspect he saw her young and pliable and he decided to try his stupid ambitions on her.
Austria: I am confused because I saw Tumblr hating on that song while the press apparently loved it. I am in the middle, I am totally indifferent about it.
Poland: I... I don't remember.
Moldova: Everyone was shocked this passed...except for me apparently. Okay it is cheap but, excuse me, that tune slaps! I don't know what to think about the long note in the end. It was quite an achievement but I was afraid the glasses would break.
Iceland: Mark me down as the one person who hates that song.
Serbia: Serbia is in my top 10 but I didn't like them live. The brunette girl carries them all, I don't think the other two are very talented singers.
Georgia: I respect how much Georgia sticks to serious, "quality" songs. But I didn't like it.
Albania: Great vocals and that woman has a commanding presence. She needs nothing more to own the stage. My problem is that I feel like I have heard this exact type of song many times before from Albania.
Portugal: I knew the juries would LOVE this one. The underdog. It is a great and unique song. Not in my favourites though.
Bulgaria: I am sorry, I just don't like the second semifinal. Yes, lovely song, bittersweet lyrics, beautiful stage, good voice, cute girl. I just don't like it. It's more a lullaby than a song I would like to listen to.
Finland: I love rock but my heart can fit only one rock band this year.
Latvia: I... didn't like it but I acknowledge it as an underrated song that was way too overlooked.
Switzerland: Good song, great performance, perfect stage. It will end up high.
Denmark: Not my cup of tea but happy and cute and I was kinda rooting for it to pass since Denmark hasn't sung in its own language for decades.
France: Y'all saying that finally France got rid of the Eiffel tower... do you know why???? Because that song couldn't fit any more frenchness!!! The modern day Edith Piaf with this "I am french" hairstyle, black simple stylish but carefree outfit, the usual "I don't need staging, my language is enough" concept and then the discreet title Voila. VOILA!!! Okay France, you are France, we get it.
UK: This must be the best song UK has sent for ages but it's still pretty bad lol
Spain: In my whole life I have only liked two Spanish entries, one of them I can't recall and the other one being Baila chiki chiki or whatever you call it.
