TBH - This brand do a lot of different sea salt flakes, the smoked chilli is my favourite when coming into a show. I keep all my herbs and spices in until 2 weeks prior... they make prep life without sauces all the worth while.

Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup water. 4 large egg yolks. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and milk. Heat over medium heat until warm, but not boiling. In a separate saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves and mixture turns amber in color. Gradually whisk the hot sugar mixture into the warm cream mixture. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks. Gradually whisk in some of the hot cream mixture to temper the yolks. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining cream mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and stir in sea salt flakes until dissolved. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean bowl. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 4 hours or overnight. Once chilled, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Transfer churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.

Indulge in the perfect combination of sweet and savory with these vegan salted caramel chocolate pancakes. Fluffy, chocolatey pancakes topped with gooey caramel sauce and a sprinkle of sea salt flakes.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup almond milk. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips. 1/2 cup vegan caramel sauce. Pinch of sea salt flakes.
Instructions: Add the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a bowl and mix them together. Put almond milk, apple cider vinegar, and vegetable oil in a different bowl and mix them together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together until they are just mixed. The vegan chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. Put the nonstick skillet on medium heat and lightly oil it. For each pancake, put 1/4 cup of batter on the pan. Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook until the other side is golden brown. Do it again with the rest of the batter. Place several pancakes on a plate, cover them with vegan caramel sauce, and top them with sea salt flakes. Enjoy while still warm!
