I knew my happiness would come in time..
I am now so happy with my absolutely perfect boy. He makes me so happy! I met him in July while I was away with cadets but I hated him, never thought that 4 months later I could be IN LOVE with that same person. I can't wait to see him on Sunday and just be able to tell him everything! He's honestly so perfect. Sea Cadets obviously has been proven to bring the most perfect people to you!
Being a sea cadet.
People think its all about marching or boating. But being a cadet is so much more than doing serious stuff, it's about meeting new people and building confidence up in yourself! I've been in cadets since my 14th birthday (3rd January 2012) and I was in cadets for two years before then but sadly quit. I've been ranked up and I'm an ordinary cadet on my way to an able cadet! I've got seamanship, continent crew and other badges, I've been on 4 different courses and 6 weekends on board in our unit. I've met over 50 people around England in the last year and I've stayed in contact with half of them, two of them are my best friends! I've met the most amazing people in our unit and they're all like family. I've fallen out with a few because of my attitude and because of the way I go around things but no matter what they're like my family! I'm helping out the staff this weekend (15-17th march) to help our new entries and junior cadets to rank up!! Being cadet is a massive responsibility and you have to believe you can complete things to become someone in your life: I hated myself before I joined sea cadets and I hated that I had nothing to live for or no hobbies. The moment I joined, I knew I was wanted. I knew I had true friends. I knew I was a new person. If I didn't join cadets; I don't know where I'd be today! Our competitions like drill, guard, rowing, etc- we are the unit that everyone wants to beat. We are working together to do a sponsered 'row the world 80 hours' on 20th April. 2013! We work together to raise money for our unit and we work together to be a team. I love cadets, I love who they've turned me into. I'm proud to be British! Over and out :)
