I'm off to a punk rock documentary screening this Sunday, and I cannot wait!
This TV channel was ridiculously important to me during my teenage years and introduced me to so many bands, ones that the mainstream channels would never play.
Tsunami Bomb, Rancid, The Starting Line, Allister, Less Than Jake, Tuuli, Reel Big Fish, Bad Religion, NOFX, Student Rick, The Ataris, Something Corporate, Goldfinger and Alkaline Trio to name but a few.
I'm incredibly grateful to this channel and will never forget blasting those tunes out all day, especially over the school summer holidays.
Is anyone on here old enough to remember it?
Also...I'm actually in the documentary!!!! Okay, so its just a few photos from my youth as part of a montage, but I'm absolutely over the moon to be able to contribute, even if in a small way.
freak i dont remember the context i made under
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
A connecting story to The Mechanisms Archives, centered around Scuzz and their three year journey home.
(Lovingly called "Lesbian Odyssey" by some of my headmates)
