oh, hey, check out what I found: a published piece from my master’s project.
Btw, of interest: I took ideas from that project and applied them to creating a similar experience for on the floor at the museum I’m at. The idea was to create a more dialogue centered approach to engage older visitors (15+) around science-controversies (as opposed to science-fact), using topics that floor staff were personally passionate about. I did a bunch of these about A.I. and robotics with guests and even other staff members. Had some great discussions and good feedback from everyone. The project is on hold right now for some technical reasons but overall I think it was really successful. (And honestly, may have some good insights for science-cafes.)
