#conservative men

Of all the bullshit that was spouted during the '24 election campaign, the take I most loathed was the claim that Donald Trump was going to win re-election because liberal women weren't willing to date conservative men, and that that was radicalizing those men.

We just found out that a woman named Vera Popisova tried it. And after a year of trying, wrote up her experiences in an article for Cosmopolitan.

She went on one of the many conservative-oriented dating sites, honestly described herself (if under a false name), and started screening matches. (Including running professional-grade background checks.)

And having weeded out the most obviously dangerous, she started matching with, chatting with, and dating the rest, a couple of them more than once. (With a multi-layered safety plan.)

And what jumps out at me from her accounts of those dates was something they all had in common, from the most horrifying to the most nearly reasonable:

None of them cared enough about what she thought or how she felt to ask even one single question of her.

None of them were even slightly interested in why she was a liberal, they were only interested in mansplaining to her why she should be conservative.

All of them were there with one mission, to persuade her that she should be their solely-owned, wholly-owned slave. They had a deeply-researched (by their standards) argument based on "science" and "religion" why he would be happier, and she would be happier too, if she'd just submit to them, body and mind and spirit, in all matters, for the rest of her life.

And then they "naturally" expected her, having heard their explanation, to agree. No questions asked. What questions are there to ask, how could anybody possibly disagree? Once you heard their rant, wasn't it obvious that they were right?

🔴The Quiet Red Pill🔴

MAGA is not always loud. Sometimes taking the red pill changes a man in ways nobody else can see at first. It settles into his judgment. His standards. His sense of order. His loyalty. His understanding of family, faith, sex, duty, and what a life is supposed to be built around.

Not every man can wear the hat. Not every man can carry openly, post slogans, or speak his Christianity in a voice that fills the room.

Not every man is fortunate enough to be @brobreedsred. 💯

Some men live in blue states. Some work in secular spaces. Some keep their convictions turned low because wisdom tells them when to speak and when to stay still.

That man is not less real. He is not less MAGA because he is not theatrical. In fact, I trust him more. A movement worth anything cannot live on merch, volume, and public flexing alone. It has to live in the private decisions. In what a man protects. In how he votes, how he carries himself, how he orders his household, how he treats his body, how he thinks about children, women, work, God, country, and responsibility.

The hat is fine.

The symbols are fine.

But they are not the heart of it.

The heart of it is making America great again, and greatness is not theater. It is not empty roleplay. It is not internet swagger for applause. It is substance. It is restoration. It is a serious conservative movement, and for many men, especially younger men, it begins inwardly before it can ever be displayed outwardly.

Sometimes the red pill is visible.

Sometimes it is hidden in plain sight.

As Alpha Dad, I stand by that man completely. Quiet conviction is still conviction. Silent alignment is still alignment.

Yeah the tough as nails badass resting his shoes on that pathetic excuse of a man, That is the future order of the world where the weak will give up to the strong.

I'm a Republican in the same way the Lincoln was a Republican. I stand for some of the same things that he stood for.

The federal government should provide public transportation nationwide.

We shouldn't be using our militia to threaten other countries in international diplomacy and federal policy.

The minimum wage should be the cost of living at least.

Sending in militia to threaten American people is horrid and should not be done.

Immigrants need to be provided the same rights of any other American person, regardless of immigration status. Asylum seekers are always welcome.

The main cause of the civil war was caused by disagreements regarding slavery and civil rights.

The government needs to stay in the place of the government and not raid people's lives.

The government is not supposed to govern private affairs, only legal and civil affairs.
