the look that crosses belinda's face is nothing short of incredulous. it is, unfortunately, a look that she's become increasingly used to wearing, in the time since the doctor picked her up and found himself incapable of getting her back home. seriously, how does anyone trust a supposedly intelligent, powerful alien with a spaceship he can't even navigate? belinda thinks she could like the man, but that's what makes him dangerous, isn't it? people like him, and forget that that's not the same as trusting him.

but, at the very least, she blends in in a way that jenny does not. she can walk out of the tardis looking like she is meant to be there. ❝ uh, yeah, ❞ comes the blunt answer as belinda tries to pinpoint what (or when) jenny's outfit even is. ❝ it's 1939. you look like, i dunno, you walked out of a chappell roan music video. you stand out. ❞

Raven: Is this legal?

it would be fair to say that molly has no real understanding of what a computer is, no more than she knows where daleks came from or how a man can meet someone who is, apparently, himself from the past, despite the fact that they look and act completely differently. but given that she has spent the entirety of her acquaintance with the doctor not understanding a single thing that comes out of his mouth, it makes little difference.

"I agree that it would be cruel," River states. Her tone softens. "Sweetheart, I assure you that it's me." Their association isn't well known; it can't be easily exploited. She runs a hand through her hair, still getting used to the wavy texture instead of curls. "Shall I prove it?" Prove that she truly is Professor River Song.
