Tinsel has always been my most favorite thing to put on the Christmas tree. I still have such fond memories of being a little girl and buying it by the box at the little corner store called Hazels. Hazels had all of the best things, like penny candy, coke in bottles, Dutch chocolate shoes and oranges , candy ribbon and best of all , the flammable crinkly tinsel that you can’t even get anymore. To me, it was magic… the tree wasn’t finished until I’d thrown it everywhere. So you can imagine my joy this week when I came upon a story I’d never heard, about the Christmas Spiders. Immediately I set out to find some for me tree but alas, there were none. A Halloween garland and a can of sterling silver spray paint solved that for me. 🎄🕷🕸🎄If you want to read the Legend of the Christmas Spider, it’s the very last picture so swipe left … it’s magic🕸 As if I needed another reason to love spiders✨❤️✨ #christmas #christmasspider #legendofthechristmasspider #schooloftheseasons #seasonaldecor #farmcharm #cottagecore #hearthwitch #cottagewitch #theschooloftheseasons #songofseasons #spiders #winter #december #wintersolstice (at The Herban Inn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CXjIQqtrOBb/?utm_medium=tumblr
