Works: The only work I have is my pride and joy One of Those Nights. It’s an AU in which Yuuri is 18 and Viktor 23, and really awkward life circumstances take Viktor to work as the guidance counselor at the same high school Yuuri attends. It has lots of comedy in it, of course, but I put a lot of effort in the character development.

Genres you write in: A little of it all, tbh. I will say, mostly fluff, but I’ve written a nice deal of angst as well, and recently posted my first smut fic. Comedy, too! Works you’ve written/you’re writing so far: My 3 WIPs are the “real” viktor nikiforov, an AU where Yuuri thinks someone is catfishing him as Viktor; i will go down with this ship!, a fandom AU with 3 layers of shipping; and chaos theory, a Jurassic World AU. I’ve also written quite a few oneshots, including my viktor nikiforov is a nightblogger verse, and about 5 soulmate AUs. And many others.

Review/critique/say about the writer:

Vitavili is a versatile writer. She has works in 1st and 3rd person, long stories, one-shot stories, happy ending stories but the main constant in her stories is angst… and smut, I’d probably add smut.

Her longest work is Unbroken heart which is composed of Between US and Behind Us. It is a very long angst rollercoaster. She is a writer that cares about her readers: she likes to pamper them, tells them sweet nothings in the ear and then, she throws them to hell. Then she picks her readers up and pampers them again with sweet fluffy moments… only to throw them to a hell pit again. And so forth. (YES, YOU DO MISSY!). Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t say it in a bad way. She does a good job keeping her stories balanced and interesting.

Not everything is like that though, while she has a very special love for angsty stories, she is versatile in her writing. She likes to tell lovely and sweet stories, funny stories and recently started a Mafia AU which is a 360 degree flip compared to her longest work. She is another writer that creates her own characters gives them a personality and fits them well in the story. She is a writer I definitely visit when I’ve stumbled on what I call ‘dark’ YOI fic and I need my doze of love and sweetness, and she gives you just the right doze, never too much… generally with some smut cherry on the top lol!

In addition to that, she is a very responsive (except lately when she was in a bit of a hiatus writing her thesis). Like I mentioned before, she really cares about her readers, keeps them updated, communicates, jokes and overall is a very humble lady who likes to be approached and takes the time to answer and thank her readers. She is also a fast writer and throws updates very often (sometimes would even throw updates 2 or 3 times a week) when not in hiatus like now.

Your review/critique/say about the writer:

I’ve only read YCPFE but this author has 3 works on AO3, including this one. It’s an A/B/O AU and smut, but hear me out, it’s amazing. It isn’t heteronormative, misogynistic and all those bad traits an A/B/O AU tent to have. Yuuri isn’t a fragile baby who needs an Alpha to protect him and Viktor isn’t an idiot who thinks is a king and deserves everything because he’s an alpha. Viktor doesn’t force Yuuri to do anything, he helps him everything he can and love him deeply so he just want Yuuri to feel good and comfortable. The story is good and the smut amazing, the characters aren’t ooc. The author is really nice and asks for things we like to write the chapters, so every reader can read something they like!

I know A/B/O and smut aren’t everybody cup of tea but this one is really good and I just want the author to feel recognized and appreciated, because I do. I appreciate them and I’m thankful for this work. I love it.
