But now that we're grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how about this. Who the hell knows? En estas ocasiones normalmente se habla del futuro, lo que se espera que lleguemos a ser, las expectativas que nosotros y otros tienen de nosotros mismos. Se habla de la grandeza que podemos alcanzar y cómo somo lanzados como flechas a conquistar el mundo.
Pero este día quiero hablar del hoy, de lo que somos en este momento, porque no sé que será mañana de nosotros o sí está escrito en las estrella. Prefiero hablar de lo que conozco y estoy segura.
El día de hoy somos un cúmulo de aprendizajes que hemos conformado a lo largo de 4 años, personas totalmente distintas a las que iniciamos este viaje, que cometimos errores y también tuvimos aciertos.
Tomamos decisiones dentro de las opciones que se nos presentaron y ellas nos trajeron hasta aquí, a una meta finalizada.
Este día nos conforman las personas que conocimos durante esta etapa, los amigos que esperamos conservar durante muchos días más y los compañeros con quienes convivimos día tras día. Somos los profesores que nos dieron lo que tenían, y nosotros decidimos tomar lo que creímos necesario. Nos constituimos por lecturas que leímos, incluso por las que no. Un cúmulo de aventuras están con nosotros para contar y revivir, aunque también existen otros sinsabores que intentamos olvidar pero que aún así nos conforman.
El día de hoy crecimos, entendimos que las cosas no siempre salen como queremos, que la escala de grises es bastante amplia y que en la vida se gana y se pierde, a veces al mismo tiempo.
No sé quienes seremos a partir de mañana, no sé si conquistaremos nuevas tierras o alcanzaremos lo que cada quien llame grandeza, pero el día de hoy estoy orgullosa de quién soy y donde he llegado.
