+ “ Things are never reallly...normal in this town, aren’t they ? “

He was going over a couple maps plus writings from a journal he had been keeping for the better part of three months now. Something about working in this environment calmed him. Strategizing, careful to not make mistakes. Feeling useful.  When Nat’s voice broke through his focus, he licked his lips and stretched before looking over at her, taking the mug into his hands and smiled, “Thank you.” he nodded. 

“The, uh...” he gestured in the direction of the quarter-inch spanner, “The thing with the fork on the end. Silver-colored. Can you hand it to me?”

Then you remember you don’t have an upstairs 😂

As you walk down the street people look, they stare. If you're kind as you go through the registers at the shopping centre, people see you as that kind woman/man, girl/boy who is always nice to people. They like you, but it's nice to have that little bit of socialism. But I'm not quite sure if this is just me but as soon as people realise that I'm Schizophrenic or that I have multiple mental illnesses they began to change the way think of you. It's as if they feel sorry for you or they believe stupid stereotypes about people with Schizophrenia are "insane" or "crazy". But, before all of that they treat you just like another stranger or friend but then they can't handle it anymore so they begin to give up on you.
