Hokay, I think Iāve been away from this for long enough.Ā I have Christmas holidays coming up away from work, so Iām hoping to use them to get back in the swing of translating Grand Blues! comics, as Iāve quite missed doing them.Ā As with the last time when I was away from translation, if there are any Iāve missed that you particularly were hoping to see translated, let me know in the comments and Iāll see what I can do. :)Ā The last one I translated was episode 1431, so there are 22 comics in there that I havenāt gotten to yet.
Regarding this comic, one funny mannerism that I canāt recall if Iāve touched on before regarding Heles and Seruel is that Seruel calls Heles a word Iāve never seen outside of the context of those two, that being å§äø, orĀ ane-ue, literally meaningĀ āelder sister aboveā.Ā Itās a more obscure, formal version of the word everyone knows, onee-san (ćå§ćć, same kanji), and I imagine is intended to convey Seruelās princely airs.Ā Thereās really no English equivalent, so both I and the official English localization just translate it asĀ āsisterā.
